Harry Brioche

Born in the Seychelles in 1965 to Creole and American parents. The idyllic freedom and sense of adventure of island life were abruptly interrupted when his family was forced to flee the 1977 Coup d'état. Harry embraced his new home and culture of England.

Briefly attended Maidstone College of Art but considers himself a self-taught artist, choosing not to conform to institutional styles and methods but to follow his own instincts and creativity. Leading to a successful career as an illustrator and graphic designer, collaborating with international brands such as Dr Martens, Coca Cola, and BAE Systems.

The British landscape, its idyllic shores, and the ever-changing atmospheric sky, drives his desire to capture the beauty and poetry of a moment, to convey the atmosphere and 'spirit' of a place through his art, with mood and light becoming the central themes of his paintings.

Harry's work adorns private and corporate collections worldwide, testament to his success and longevity in the art world.

Harry's work is regularly exhibited at the Mall Galleries in London through prestigious institutions such as the New English Art Club (NEAC), the Royal Society of Marine Artists (RSMA), the Royal Institute of Oil Painters (ROI), and the Royal Society of British Artists (RBA) and national and international exhibitions.
