Gareth Evans

I was born in Singapore, grew up in a remote Welsh Valley and now live and work from just outside of Macclesfield.  I am a full-time artist working across a range of media from digital to more traditional hand applied methods.  I am interested in presenting my work in unusual formats and materials and rarely is it presented in 2D.

I currently have 2 exhibiting series – Urban Geisha and My Father’s Books-  in various independent UK galleries and also work in partnership with a UK publisher to distribute through their gallery networks.

Solo shows include the Cotswold Contemporary in Cirencester and Burford (2023 & 2024), Soho Fine Art Guildford (2023), Art of Protest  (20254) and my work has appeared in Art Fairs in the London, Edinburgh, Manchester as well as the USA.
