Patty Callaghan

Patty works in papier mache as she likes to recycle and re-purpose found materials - she's the woman who can't throw anything out. Patty uses newspaper and packaging material for the modelling. The fun comes in searching out colours for the final layers. A whole page photo of pink ice cream might become a flamingo, or she may cut fine strips of red to create loud checked trousers for a 70s rock icon. Sitting alone making animals out of newspaper and glue could make you a bit weird, so Patty also enjoys running workshops and encouraging other people never to look at a bit of scrap paper in the same way again.
