Cyanotype, sun printing, drawing with light. A Victorian photographic process to create silhouette images of local botanicals. Using soaps, vinegar, natural dyes, I am able to broaden the traditional blue colour range. Some pieces are finished with gold leaf and encaustic wax.
My inspiration comes from local plants and weeds exploiting their unexpected beauty.
