Jo lavelle Jewellery designs and hand makes jewellery from her studio in Manchester. With over 20 years experience in her field Jo’s jewellery can be described as intricate, moveable, multi layered, sculptural and unique.

A love of texture and movement are huge inspirations in Jo’s jewellery with Inspiration and jewellery style stemming from patterns in nature that create repeated forms with beautiful intricate details.

"I love working with multiple units and the more the better! I strive for that detail and intricacy and to encourage people to look at a piece and be curious to how it was made. My desk is full of experiments and test pieces of jewellery and how I try varying ways of putting pieces together... some work some don’t!"

Her most distinctive and long time range is the pompom range. Pompom is characterised by the clustering of multiple silver tags to make cluster pompom shapes in a variety of shapes. Jo also produces a loopy range which is just as popular and compliments her pompom range. Loops of silver are entwined and looped together creating those patterns and textures that she strives for in her work.
