Clare Allan

Clare studied Fine Art printmaking at Hull University and now works from her studio in the Peak District town of New Mills.

Her work explores a sense of place, and her personal connection to it. The grit stone landscape, culture and industrial heritage of the North West providing much of her inspiration.

Clare’s work often combines several viewpoints into one single composition.  Her landscapes aim to sum up how it feels to be in a certain place.

Clare has exhibited in Galleries in London and across the North West, and has work in private collections across the globe.
