Sarah Pink

Sarah makes figurative sculptures based on human and animal forms. She uses bright underglazes and oxides and often embellish them with gold after the final firing. Her hybrid figures blur the boundary between people and creatures emphasising the connection between both.​
Drawing is an integral part of Sarah's process. This is a combination of quick sketches and regular life drawing sessions. Sarah then collage and redraw these images to form the basis of my work.​
