Mia Calderisi Phelan

Mia works in silver, gold and brass and uses jewellery enamel and precious stones to inject colour into her work. Mia has a sculptural approach to manipulating precious metals, taking a rigid form and making it flow.​
Influenced greatly by the sea and the natural environment Mia says she is constantly looking around and surveying her surroundings for inspiration through form or colour.​
She is passionate about traditional jewellery craft therefore her work is not mass produced and is carefully handmade, making every piece unique and one off.
