Lucy Green

Lucy is a local emerging artist living in Congleton, Cheshire . Having done a foundation year at Macclesfield College for art and design, she is now experimenting with animal sculpture made from folded paper inspired by origami.​

Her practice includes folding thousands of triangles that link together. This is a very medatitive process that Lucy gets emersed in. The intentional use of white paper allows the texture in the sculptures to be appreciated for its contrast in light and dark.
